Project Overview

When I joined ReaLife Tech, they already had an app for The O2. As in the time of pandemic everything was shut it was a good opportunity for the client to add new features into their app. Client had requested for the new feature of food and drink order from the app. I along with two UI designers work on the new feature of The O2.

Execution
Our group of designers and client partner sat together to discuss how we can achieve this feature. After a long discussion, we noted down the requirements for the feature. We asked our client to provide us all the food and drinks store the venue has, the payment methods, basic concept on how the store will receive the order and how it currently works etc.

Once we had all the prerequisite sorted, we started creating wireframes. After a few iterations, the client approved the flow and finally we put the branding colours to show the end results to client.
Order journey
We dedicated sepearte tab for order. As user lands on Order page, the first thing they should do is choose their sitting block and seat deatils. Once done, the list of restaurants will appear. User can choose the food/drinks they would like to order from the restaurant and add them to thier shopping basket.

Payment
Once the user is happy with the basket items, they can simple proceed for checkout. Checkout can be done via two payment methods depending on the phone make. Apple users have facility to checkout with ApplePay or by adding the credit card details. Android users can pay by adding thier card details only.
